VILNIUS–RIGA–TALLINN-S.PETERSBURG-MOSCOW
(or opposite) From any Baltic tour finishing in Tallinn, its possible to add this tour
in Russia, visiting the 2 capitals, or simply taking this tour without the Baltics.

Day 1 - TALLINN-NARVA-ST.PETERSBURG (350 km) Breakfast. Way to St.Petersburg.
Stop in the town of Narva, where its medieval fortress is the main sight, with exhibits
about the history of this border town that has been always invaded by many cultures.
Also we´ll see the old town hall, & the lutheran cathedral. Lunch in Narva.
Crossing of the border & keep way to SPB.
Meeting with the local guide & accomodation in the hotel of St.Petersburg.

Day 2 – ST.PETERSBURG Breakfast. Guided visit of the town, passing through the
Winter Palace square & the tzar Alexander´s column, the Senate´s square,
the Smolny Cathedral, the St.Nicholas Cathedral & the St.Peter & St.Paul Fortress,
founded by Peter I in 1703 as the first stone building of the new capital.
Free time. Accomodation in St.Petersburg.

Day 3 - ST.PETERSBURG-PETRODVORETS-ST.PETERSBURG (60km)
Breakfast. Optional visit of Petrodvorets, 30 km from St. Petersburg, visiting the former
Palace of the Tzars. Its a Palaces ensemble from the XVIII c., boasting impressive
gardens with the Versailles style. Free time. Accomodation in St.Petersburg.

Day 4 – ST.PETERSBURG Breakfast. Free day to visit many sights around the center
like the Cathedral of St. Isaac, or the Museum of the Hermitage, one of the Worlds
biggest & former residence of the tzars. Walking through the channels of Griboedova
& Fontanka, admiring a huge variety of bridges, theatres, churches & buildings
that show us the idea of tzar Peter the great on creating the most espectacular city designed by some of the best artists & architect masters of those times, in the evening you can enjoy any opera or ballet at the famous SPB theaters. Accomodation in St.Petersburg

Day 5 - ST.PETERSBURG-MOSCOW Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Moscow, where we´ll do a panoramic view of this huge metropole, meeting point of many cultures inside the Russian Federation. We´ll learn about the history of this city & we´ll visit many interesting places as the Red square, the State University, the Bolshoi Theater, etc... Also we´ll pass through few of the biggest avenues like Tverskaya, Novy Arbat, the Gardens ring & the Boulevars ring, etc. After lunch there´s an optional visit to the underground of Moscow, World´s most beautiful. Everyday about 7 millions people take it at any of its 157 stations, 11 lines with 225 Km long. All the stations are different style, with its own architect & decorative distribution. Accomodation in Moscow.

Day 6 - MOSCOW Breakfast. Optional visit to Sergiev Posad (known in soviet times as the town of Zagorsk).
Visit to the Trinity Monastery & St Serge. This monastery was founded on the 1337 & nowadays is one of the mos important Orthodox centers in Russia, where all country´s pilgrims come. Free time after lunch. Accomodation in Moscow.

Day 7 - MOSCOW Breakfast. Visit to the Kremlin, where we´ll walk in the Ivanovskaia square surrounded by the old cathedrales, palaces, belltowers & churches. We´ll visit few of these Cathedrals to learn more about the history of this country & better admire the russian iconegraphists masterpieces. We´ll see the famous “Queen Bell”, a huge bell of 200 tones & the world´s biggest cannon “The king of cannons”. The Armory from the XIV c. until the beginning of  XIX c., hosted the Moscow Tzars treasures. Today there are unique exhibitions in it: apart of collection of weapons from the XIII - XVIII c., prime clothes from the  XIV - XIX c., jewels from the  XII - XIX c.. And all kind of decorative objects made of gold, silver, precious stones, ivory, porcelain, etc... The famous Fabergé easter eggs are also displayed here. Accomodation in Moscow.

Day 8 - MOSCOW Breakfast. Transfer to the airport at the accorded time. END OF TRIP.
